Gregory Casale
Chief Executive Officer
Greg has over twenty years experience in building and leading technology companies. Prior to joining Starbak, Greg served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for DMOD, a provider of rights management solutions for digital media. Greg joined DMOD from Cisco Systems, where he ran the business development organization for the content networking business unit. In 2000, Cisco acquired SightPath, a pioneering developer of enterprise content delivery networks, where Greg served as Director of Business Development. Prior to SightPath, Greg held various positions in engineering, manufacturing and program management at PictureTel, DSC Communications, and Texas Instruments. Greg holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.
James Strahle
Chief Operating Officer
James is a serial entrepreneur who has held ownership and management positions in a number of industries. James served as a senior consultant with IBM Global Services, where his responsibilities included M&A strategy and assessments, strategy consulting, change management, and business process re-engineering. James extensive consulting experience spans the fields of consumer electronics, automotive, retail, aerospace and defense, life sciences, and enterprise software. Over his career, James has provided consulting services to such companies as Sikorsky Aircraft, Siemens, Wal-Mart, TJX, Hertz, Ford Motor Company, Yellow Freight Systems, and others. James also founded several successful companies, including Meridian Consulting, Mercury Gate International, and Kepler & Associates. At Starbak, James is responsible for the product development, product management and professional services organizations.
Russell Dow
Director of Sales, North America
Russ directs all of Starbak’s sales and indirect sales channels in North America. Russ has been in field sales for technology companies for more than 20 years including assignments at Silicon Systems and TDK Corporation, where he secured major wins in DirecTV and other mass market DVR launches. Russ has extensive experience in IP networks and video streaming, with emphasis on assisting Fortune companies and other large organizations with implementing comprehensive video communications strategies. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from SUNY Stony Brook.
Arthur Garofalo
Vice President of Sales, International
Art is responsible for all of Starbak’s sales and indirect channel sales outside of North America, with emphasis on Asia Pacific and Europe. Prior to joining Starbak, Art held numerous executive positions in sales, channel sales, and marketing with a number of technology companies, including Openwave Systems, Computervision, Proteon, Avatar and Microcom.
